WHAT IS FIRST?

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), founded by inventor Dean Kamen in 1989, is a non-profit organization that promotes the use of technology and engineering through robotics. Students learn not only how to use their science and math skills to build a robot that they will forever be proud of, but also how to work as a team.
