Safety
When working with machines or using power tools make sure all loose clothing is completely out of the way of the path of the tool; this includes headphone wires, sweatshirt pull-strings, hair, and long sleeves. In addition to these preventative measures, protection is a requirement. All students must wear Z87 rated goggles in the workshop and at competition. Lastly, always wear close-toed shoes and long pants – preferably jeans – to prevent any lower-body injuries.
