Concept: scores quickly using a hatch mechanism and cargo manipulator on the cargo ship and low rocket level, finishing on HAB 3

  • Chassis: Omni wheels & 2 5” diameter 1.5” Colson wheels in the center for quick turns and traction.
  • Cargo: Omni and stealth wheels intake Cargo using a 775 pro with a 25:1 reduction. A lexan backplate automatically centers the balls.
  • Hatch: Pneumatic hook with a passive auto-centering polycarbonate arrow that slides out to score.
  • Climber Tail: Reliably flips the robot onto HAB 3.”Shark fins” act as the pivot point. Powered by one CIM using 400:1 reduction.

It was created to keep the central focus of FIRST Robotics Competition on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encouraging more of today’s youth to become science and technology leaders.
